What is a Kid-Friendly Restaurant?

The definition of a kid-friendly restaurant is what you say it is; it comes from your insights and experiences while dining out with your family. When you complete our survey, nominate and rate restaurants, you contribute to the development of a “real time” definition of what kid-friendly means to you.

MyKidsPlate.com is the ultimate resource for families, dedicated to Raising Standards in Kid-Friendly Dining. We hope you will visit regularly to nominate new restaurants and see the latest additions. Be sure to sign up for the newsletter below which features timely family and restaurant news.

Testimonials

It would be nice to have something entertain the kids while the parents eat. For example, a small train ride in the middle of the restaurant would be great. This way you can see your children and they are having a good time.

Paradiso in Alexandria, VA has a room with kid friendly television programming, kid-size tables, one way window that parents can look through to check on kids, and a personal waiter/waitress that keeps and eye on the kids, takes their order from the kid's menu and brings the kids their meals. Great when trying to spend time and enjoy a meal with other parents or friends.
